Sorry I didnt make it to alfred this summer. Me and my gf broke up and its been a lot of moving/saving. Good news is im moving to brooklyn in December so well be sure to meet up.

Painting still and trying to sell myself, i got a website now, its SeanLucasArt.com
Uh school was a long journey of different prospects that all didnt work out due to different reasons that eventually culminated in this revelation that I dont need to go to school for art. I dont want to teach, or curate, or do graphic design. only be an artist. so it would completely be a waste of a lot of money.
I wish I had realized this a couple years ago though because paying back these worthless student loans is a royal pain in the ass.
I've been living in an apartment now with a couple roommates, with whom im very close, for the last half a year or so. I've been struggling, definitely, but putting up the good fight and life is nice on the whole.
I've got mixed prospects for galleries and im gonna be spotlighted in an art magazine this winter with a biography and all. Marketing myself has been difficult though, especially at my age.
But I'd say all is good, and I hope all is good with you. I'll try and keep in touch in the future and I would love very much if you pass along a good word to my friends at alfred.
